The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Auction will be held on December 19, 2023 in Dubai at the Coca-Cola Arena. And this is the first time where IPL auction to be held overseas. The auction will be conducted by the Tata Group, which is the new title sponsor of the IPL.
There are 333 players have been shortlisted for the auction, including 214 Indians and 119 Overseas players of which 2 players are from associate nations. Out of these, 116 are Capped players and 215 are Uncapped players and 2 from associate nations.
The 10 teams have a total of 77 slots to fill, of which 30 can be overseas players. Only 77 players out of the 333 will get a chance to play in the IPL 2024 season. The competition for the spots will be intense, as the players have set their base prices according to their skills and experience.
