“We’re going to field. Boys are pretty pumped up. We’ve got Bhuvi who’s a very nice new ball bowler, I just fill in wherever required.
Pat Cummins, SRH Skipper
We’re going with one extra batter, Markande misses out. We’ve always looked to bowl first, maybe dew will be a factor later in the evening.”
“Was hoping to win the toss, nothing we can control much. If we put up runs against them they’ll be under pressure. We have just lost those clutch moments in the matches, just 2-3 overs while batting when we couldn’t capitalise.
Ruturat Gaikwad, CSK Skipper
Even with bowling, we haven’t gotten those starts in the powerplay and sometimes when we’ve got that we haven’t been able to finish off well. Overall, we’re happy with where we are but we’re just looking to win those clutch moments”

“Feeling pretty good. Tough to play in such wet conditions, and to be able to win by 70-odd runs is a clinical performance. Was a blessing in disguise at the toss. Too hot and humid conditions. Even the last game, was there batting for 20 overs and fielding for 20 overs. Today also almost the same. Wasn’t thinking about a hundred. Wanted to make sure we get to 220-odd. Was disappointed that I missed 4-5 hits at the back end. During the innings break I felt it could make a difference and I was upset. But thankfully it was enough.”
Ruturaj Gaikwad, CSK
The match between CSK and SRH was a testament to CSK’s balanced team and their ability to perform under pressure.
