Unhappy Fans Unfollow MI, after Hardik Pandya Takes Over Captainship of Rohit Sharma

Pandya expressed his interest to return to Mumbai Indians a few months before the retention deadline. Mumbai Indians agreed to pay Rs 15 crore to Gujarat Titans.

Rohit took over as MI captain from Ricky Ponting in 2013. Same year, under the helm of Rohit, Mumbai Indians won their very first title in 2013.

IPL shifted out of India to the UAE due to the Covid-19 pandemic. MI beat the DC in the first qualifier by 57 runs. In the final, MI faced DC again and MI won the match by 5 wickets.
